Few productions capture the wonder of Christmas quite like The Nutcracker. Perth Youth Ballet invites young dancers from across Western Australia to audition for our 2026 production of this timeless festive classic. From the first rehearsal to the final curtain call, dancers will experience the excitement, discipline and joy of bringing this magical story to life on stage.

A Magical Production Experience

Under the creative direction of Liam Blair, with collaborative choreography by Kevin Jackson and Lauren Limmer, dancers will work alongside an experienced artistic team in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Throughout the season, you'll develop your technique, artistry and performance skills through a professionally guided production journey featuring:

A three-day school holiday workshop

Weekly Sunday rehearsals

Stage blocking and dress rehearsals

Two theatre performances
